Have kids?
At Westminster Presbyterian Church, we encourage children in worship, and are not worried by wiggles and giggles. We provide worship bags with fun activities, children' bulletins, and a new "pray-ground" where children can sit with some room to move around. Sunday School is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sunday's of each month following the children's message.
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a part of the Blackhawk Presbytery, which encompasses most of northern Illinois. The Presbytery meets 5 times a year at various locations throughout the presbytery.
Westminster is also a part of the Synod of Lincoln Trail, as is Blackhawk Presbytery. The synod is the next step up of our church governing system. The Synod of Lincoln Trails includes all churches and Presbyteries in Illinois and Indiana.
